Dubrovnik
Airport is currently finalizing an extensive airport
modernization program which includes the extension
of the passenger terminal building, car park and
aircraft apron. The extension of the passenger
terminal building will include additional concession
spaces, enhanced Baggage Handling System, Check-in
Hall and Departure Lounges with the possibility
of including Passenger Boarding Bridges in the
near future.
Services
Rendered:
Airport
consultancy and design services were rendered
for optimizing the existing airfield layout in
order to increase overall airfield capacity, safety
and airport operations. Services rendered included:
Onsite analysis and assessment of current airside/
facilities including the development of a Site
Analysis and Assessment Report outlining all
critical findings.
Airfield
design services including the preparation of
various options for optimizing the existing
and future apron configuration and associated
aircraft parking positions based on the existing
and future aircraft fleet mix.
Preparation
of technical report outlining all recommendations
for enhancing existing and future airfield enhancements.
Preparation
of aircraft parking computer simulations illustrating
minimum aircraft clearances, jet blast and power-in
/ push-back aircraft operations for all critical
aircraft presently operating at Dubrovnik Airport.
Consultancy
services were provided for an assessment of
the architectural design for the new terminal
development program and included a general Terminal
Verification including design parameters for
the inclusion of Passenger Boarding Bridges.
