Description:
The Puerto
Rico Ports Authority is currently undertaking
the development of a new passenger terminal at
Luis Munõz Marin International Airport.
The new terminal is an extension of the existing
terminal and will cater solely to domestic passengers
and passengers disembarking / embarking from the
marine cruise port. The new terminal facility
is comprised of 5 additional contact gates, check-in
facility, departure lounge areas with upgraded
retail area and comprises an area in excess of
20,000 m².
Services
Rendered:
Design services
were rendered for the preparation of complete
landscape design documents for all exterior areas
for the new passenger terminal including taxi
waiting area (as depicted above), curbside roadway
and terminal access roadway and service roads.
Services rendered included:
Onsite analysis and assessment of existing airport
facilities and planting material.
Preparation
of final design documents for the complete exterior
landscape package including preparation of technical
specifications and construction details.
Preparation
of hardscape final design documents, landscape
pallet and cost estimates.
