Location:

Client:

The Solution Design Group, Inc. / Booz Allen Hamilton

Project Duration:

December 2006 – October 2007
Project Description:

As part of the implementation of an authority-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) services were rendered in order to document the existing procedures and methods for carrying-out systematic tasks related to capital development projects, accounting, procurement, accounts payable / receivable, asset management, revenue management, human resources and budgeting.

Once the existing procedures were documented and analyzed, the project team provided industry Best Practices and proceeded to develop a Concept of Operations (CONOPS) which enhanced work processes, reduced process redundancy and joined processes. The final stage of the program included the preparation of "to-be" process workflows which illustrated and described the process enhancements.
